I thanked Bill and headed back home. I gave Coach Henderson a call. Left a voicemail. Waited a bit. Then, a couple of hours later, my phone buzzed. It was a text from the coach! He apologized for the delay, said they’d just finalized a few game times and he was in the process of distributing it. He actually attached a PDF of the 2024 Land O’ Lakes baseball schedule right there in the text message.
I tell ya, I felt like I’d struck gold! I immediately downloaded it, printed out a copy, and stuck it right on the fridge. My son saw it and did a little happy dance. Mission accomplished!
It just goes to show, sometimes the direct approach, talking to actual people, is still the way to go, especially for local stuff like this. Glad I have it now. We’re already circling the dates for the big games. Can’t wait for the season to start!
